There’s lots of great Korean BBQ in Koreatown, but my favorite in LA is actually in….
BURBANK!!
Who would have thought?! I have actually walked by this place while it was being built and thought it looked kind of cool.
Han KBBQ is an absolute gem among the plethora of Korean BBQ spots in LA! I’ve probably eaten there like five times in the last year. There is free parking and it’s actually not that bad of a drive from Downtown Los Angeles. I think one of my favorite things about this spot is that they have a beautiful outdoor patio. It’s such a vibe to be out there on a sunny afternoon and the best part is that Jax can be with us!
There are a few different pricing tiers and you have to go with the most expensive one (go hard or go home!). It’s $60 and that includes appetizers, side dishes, sashimi, sushi rolls, and all the premium meats. Crazy right?! Lots of other places still charge you if you want an appetizer or side and the only thing that is included is the banchan. Speaking of banchan, their kimchi is so good. I could eat it by itself with rice and call it a day.
For being an AYCE spot, their meat quality is one of the best. I always get the pork jowl and the meat tastes so clean. I also highly suggest getting the chicken wings and ending the whole meal with sashimi. Those are the few things that I always order. And of course, they have a full bar. If you want something fun, ask for the Flaming Lamborghini!
All in all, Han KBBQ is a haven for foodies and BBQ enthusiasts alike. With its superb ambiance, sumptuous food, and excellent service, it’s no wonder this spot has captured my heart and taste buds. A trip to Han KBBQ is an experience that will keep you coming back for more, time and time again!
