The Halal Guys started as a food cart in New York and now has slowly reached the west coast! I had it for the first time in New York (I felt like it was only right) and have been patiently waiting for it to open in Los Angeles!

It’s located in the heart of Koreatown, right down the street from the LINE hotel. This is probably going to be the new go to spot after bar hopping since it’s open until 4am. 

I got there on grand opening day around lunchtime and surprisingly, I only waited for forty minutes. I got the mixed gyro platter with their famous red and white sauce. I would have to say it tastes exactly like the one I had in New York! Their hot sauce is still fire as usual. For people who haven’t had it, you really only need like a dot of it on your food haha.
