If you haven’t been to San Diego yet, I’m pretty sure Phil’s BBQ is on your to do list. It’s been on countless shows and you know it’s good when locals still rave about it.
Instead of getting the usual BBQ with sides, I decided to try one of their sandwiches. I got their BBQ Broham, which is their pulled pork shoulder. AMAZING! I actually don’t see the point in making it a sandwich. It’s impossible to eat with two hands. I had sauce all over my hands, arms, face… So I recommend eating it with a fork.
Another pro tip: the wait can be hours long so I suggest going during non peak hours or ordering your food to go!
