The Chairman is this super cool bao restaurant in the Arts District. It’s small inside, but this is LA: we love to sit outside in cute patios in this perfect ass weather.
I got their misoglazed porkbelly and spicy chicken on steamed buns which were both great. It’s kind of hard to compare to BaoHaus in New York. They’re both really good. I feel that The Chairman is a bit more simple with only one topping where BaoHaus is a little more adventurous with the type of meat and toppings they use.
Pro tip: Get the large fries! Not only is the seasoning on point, but I feel like they give you more than enough!
