I absolutely love breakfast food. I could eat breakfast for every meal of the day. When I moved back to San Diego, I discovered this new breakfast spot called Snooze in Hillcrest. I was kind of surprised because the last time I was in SD, that restaurant use to be an empty lot.

The OMG! French Toast was the first of many meals at Snooze. It’s fresh brioche stuffed with mascarpone and topped with vanilla creme, salted caramel, agave soaked strawberries and toasted coconut. First bite literally made me say, “Oh my gosh….” I am a sucker for french toast and this creation really blew my mind. This is most ideal for those with a sweet tooth.

I’ve had their mimosas which actually got me a little buzzed after one glass. This is also one of those restaurants where EVERYTHING is good. No disappointments here. It’s really hard to order too because everything sounds so damn good.

If you’re ever going to come here, don’t come too hungry or you’ll get angry. There’s always a long wait, but trust. It’s worth it!
