I always thought it was weird how people would go out to eat all the time or pay for prepped meals that get delivered to them. I’ve spent my entire life enjoying food that was cooked by my family or myself. Ironically, things have changed a lot since then.

It’s tough having a food blog sometimes because I literally want to eat everything… And I kind of have to. I go out to eat a lot, half of the time for work and the other half because I just like to eat. As I get older, I notice that life keeps getting busier and busier. Sometimes I wonder how I fit everything I do in 24 hours. I honestly can’t have it all and the one thing that I sacrifice is cooking healthy food at home. I’d like to think I’m great at time management, but I just can’t make time for it. I now understand why people pay for these meal prep services.

There are a ton of meal prep companies out there and it’s hard to choose sometimes. I want something that’s affordable, healthy, and also really delicious. I’m glad that I was able to try out Model Meals, but I was a bit nervous at first. Meal prepped food thats clean, local, organic, Whole30+, AND paleo?! I like to keep an open mind, but will it taste good?!

I was quite blown away by Model Meals! The ordering process was simple and delivery is really convenient. I wasn’t home when the food got delivered, but Model Meals insulates the food and has ice packs to keep the food at a safe temperature until the box is opened.

This is what I got:

2. Lettuce- Wrap Burger with Root Wedges and Cool Ranch
3. Chimichurri Meatballs with Sweet Potato Mash
4. Whole30 Pork Bang Bang Stir Fry
5. Romesco Garlic Shrimp with Zucchini Noodles
6. Root Veggie Bowl with Yolky Egg and Tahini Sauce
7. Tex- Mex Breakfast Casserole with Sweet Potato Crust

Everything was so good! It’s hard to say what my favorite was. The cool ranch with the burger was so bomb, the meatballs were pretty good, and the use of root veggies to replace potatoes was a game changer.

I’m glad that I found a meal prep service that I really enjoy! I would definitely recommend Model Meals for anyone tight on time, money, but want all the flavor and healthy food at your doorstep!
